I’ve struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. It’s been a constant battle, a source of frustration and insecurity. I’ve tried everything – diets, pills, starvation – in the hopes of shedding those extra pounds, but nothing seemed to work.
It was especially tough during my school years, when I felt like I didn’t fit in with the “cool” and skinny girls. I was always self-conscious about my body, always comparing myself to others and feeling like I wasn’t good enough.
Over time, I came to realize that my weight struggles weren’t just about genetics or willpower. There were deeper issues at play, like emotional eating and a lack of self-care. But even with that knowledge, it wasn’t easy to break old habits and create new ones.
…until a random visit to my family doctor turned my life upside down.
The dread of the Monday morning was overwhelming.
For two days in a row, I had been feeling sick to my stomach, and my husband insisted that I go see a doctor.
The waiting room was a torture chamber, but the worst was yet to come. The nurse escorted me to the scale, and as an overweight woman, it was always a humiliating experience.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Dr. Turner entered the room and started asking questions.
When he asked me to take a pregnancy test, my heart leaped with joy, but the joy quickly turned to terror when he delivered the news.
If I didn’t lose weight, there was a good chance I would lose the baby.
It was as though someone had sucker-punched me in the gut.
I was paralyzed with fear and unable to swallow or speak. I felt like I was suffocating.
Suddenly, the weight problem that I had been ignoring for so long was now a life-and-death situation.
I couldn’t stop crying.
When I got home, I felt alone and helpless, unsure of how to proceed.
I finally mustered the courage to tell my husband, who was also devastated.
In that moment, I realized that if I didn’t take action to lose weight quickly, I could lose the baby and my life would be forever changed.
Tuesday, 2:35 PM I texted my big brother:
He called me and I shared what had happened with Tom. Like the good big brother he is, he calmed me down and asked if he could talk more in the next couple of day.
You see, in Tom’s day job, he works as a photojournalist and he travels the world to capture interesting photos from presidential inaugurations, celebrities at the Oscars to the world’s deadliest natural disasters… and just like me, he also had trouble getting rid of his excess weight.
Thursday, 1:23 AM, laying in bed trying to sleep when I hear a loud knock at the front door.
The noise was so loud that my husband immediately jumped out of bed and grabbed his baseball bat, clumsily making his way towards the front door. I quickly threw on my robe and followed him nervously.
As we reached the door, I was shocked to see Tom standing outside.
“Tom, what are you doing here?” I asked, still trying to wake up.
“We have to talk,” Tom replied with excitement in his tired voice. “It couldn’t wait. I finally did it!”
He then proceeded to tell us about his incredible journey over the last few months, from his near-death experience in the Amazon Rainforest to the simple morning routine that helped him lose over 60 pounds.
I sat there, completely amazed and entranced, as Tom recounted every detail.
“Wow, you look so thin,” I said in awe, only just realizing the drastic change in his appearance.
Tom then explained that Primal Stress Syndrome was what had been preventing our bodies from losing weight, no matter if we were in our 30s, 40s, 50s, or even beyond 60s. And that this simple “morning routine” could finally end our struggles with weight loss.
He grabbed a pen and paper and quickly outlined the steps of the routine for me to follow.
Although I was initially skeptical about such an easy solution, I knew I had nothing to lose and everything to gain.
The next morning, I eagerly got out of bed and completed the simple routine.
“This seems too easy,” I thought to myself.
But I was determined to try anything that could help me with my weight loss battle.
After all, Tom had successfully overcome our shared genetics, and I was ready to give it a shot.
Since I started the morning routine, here are the SHOCKING results I experienced that I will always consider a true miracle:
- My weight dropped like a brick from 210 lbs to 157 lbs in just under 5 months. My husband and I no longer had to worry about delivery issues with our baby. I’m happy to say we had a healthy, happy baby girl named Page and we couldn’t be more blessed!
- I have since lost an additional 27 lbs (80 pounds total)! This was over the course of just one year. It was far easier than I expected, I never once felt hungry and I’ve not gained back any of the weight since.
- I just had my 40th birthday and, I feel as healthy and energetic as I did in my 20’s. Keeping up with children would have been impossible for me at my previous weight!
- My extreme fatigue and dramatic mood swings have disappeared and my creativity and “zest for life” have come roaring back just in time to welcome a new member into our family. I truly couldn’t feel happier.
Since then, something else amazing has happened and it’s the main reason I’m sitting at my desk writing this letter now.
My brother is an amazing person who is not only brilliant but also a natural teacher with a big heart. Our lives had been changed so much by Tom’s breakthrough discovery that we encouraged him to share his morning routine with women everywhere.
Tom has since quit his day job and made it his personal mission in life to share his healthy weight loss discovery with women all across the world.
